Pulippu Mango Thokku


Sour Mango - 1
Sour Mango Fruit - 2
Fenugreek - 1/2 Teaspoon (mild Fried and powdered)
Chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon
Jaggery (grated) - 1 Tablespoon
Salt - to taste

For Seasoning

Sesame Oil - 3 Tablespoon
Mustard - 1/2 Teaspoon
Asafoetida powder - 2 pinch


1. Wash and Peel both Mango and Mango Fruit and remove the seed cut into small pieces.

2. Put the incredients for seasoning in a pan and heat. After the mustard seeds splutter add cut mango and mango fruit pieces, Fenugreek powder, Chilli powder, Salt and mix well and keep in mild heat until it get heat mildly until it is like paste,

3. Finally add the grated Jaggery, mix well and cook for 5 minutes and remove from heat.

4. After the heat is gone put the pickle in bottle and keep in Fridge. You can use it as and when necessary.


1. You use this thokku and prepre Mango Kuzhambu, Mango Kesari also.
