Maida Cake

Ingredients

Maida Flour - 1/2 Kg
Butter - 50 grams
Sugar - 350 grams
Baking Soda - 2 pinch
Cardamom powder - 2 pinch
Water - as required


Directions

1. Grind the Sugar as powder in Mixie.

2. Mix the Powdered Sugar with Butter in a Bowl.

3. To this add Maida Flour, Cardomom powder, Baking Soda and mix well.

4. Add required water to this and knead well without lumps to prepare dough.

5. Roll the dough into rotis and cut them in to required shapes as diamond, round or square.

6. Pour Oil in a Pan and Boil it. Put the Cut Maida pieces in the oil and fry them till it reaches golden colour.

7. Spread tissue paper in a bowl and put the fried cakes by that tissue paper will take the extra oil from the cake.

8. Tasty, hot Maida Cake is ready to eat.

Notes

1. Fry the Maida Cake in Mild Flame.
